KUIU Encounter System
KUIU’s new Encounter system is engineered for whitetail hunters sitting 20 feet up in early- to mid-season conditions. Uninsulated softshell outer layers and fleece mid layers offer balanced wind resistance and breathability in a low-sheen package. Lightweight jacquard fleece features negative space for trapping pockets of air for added warmth and comfort in the treestand. The polyester is moisture-wicking and fast-drying for performance in any conditions. The Encounter Jacket is built for stealth with magnetic quiet-closure hand pockets, quiet sliders on zippers, and ultra-quiet face fabric as well as an Odorex anti-odor treatment. It features a layered safety harness port, interior hand warmer pockets, and pit zips for ventilation. The four-way stretch construction is burr-resistant and finished with a DWR treatment. The Encounter system also includes a fleece zip-up, vest, pants, and fleece base layer bottom.
