Garnish Ideas

If you are making this for special occasions, such as baby showers or bridal showers, you can garnish this with one or two of the following to make them look pretty.

  • Lemon slices or wedges
  • Lavender sprigs
  • Strawberries

Recipe Tips

  1. If this mixture is too strong, add water until it reaches a strength you like. I like mine strong, and this recipe definitely reflects that.
  2. To make it sparkly, use sparkling water instead of still water.

What Is Lavender Lemonade Made Of?

Water – Use good quality, filtered water. Tap water will often taste like chlorine, which is not a desired flavor here.

Culinary lavender flowers – These are simply lavender buds that can be found in the spice aisle at the grocery store. Many health food stores also carry them. Make sure you get the kind that is for culinary use. Some are not.

Honey – Any type you like. You can also use any sweeteners you like. The measurement given is a starting point. Adjust the amount to your tastes.

Lemon juice – Fresh lemon juice tastes best, but bottled will work as long as there is no added sugar in the juice.
