As a mom of boys, sometimes Valentine’s Day can be hard, because some boys aren’t into all the lovey dovey-ness of the holiday. But there are plenty of themes for boys too! If you’re having a hard time finding something for them to gift their classmates, just think about their likes and interests.
Last year my son was so excited about basketball, so I made him basketball themed treats. Of all the basketball players, Ja Morant is his favorite, so of course I incorporated him in the design.
I got so many compliments that I wanted to share this printable so your kids can pass them out as classroom valentines, too. You could give regular basketball valentine cards, and while fun basketball cards are nice, kids will love their Valentine juice pouches!

Basketball Valentines Kool Aid Printable Supplies & Assembly
SUPPLIES
- Digital File (at the end of this post)
- Printer (here’s a list of recommendations)
- Sticker Paper
- Scissors or Paper Trimmer
ASSEMBLY
Download the digital file at the end of this post. If cutting by hand, download the PDF file. If you will be using a cutting machine, I’ve provided a jpeg file for you. Print as many as you need on glossy sticker paper. I use this paper, because it is glossy, compatible with a home inkjet printer and prints beautifully. When printing, ensure you change the printer settings paper type to Premium Glossy Photo Paper (or HP photo if using an HP printer).
Trim to size using scissors or a paper trimmer. Then hole punch the straw hole and apply to the front . Or you can skip hole punching and just apply the label to the back. Applying to the back eliminates the need of having to remove the straw. Also, you’re able to see the flavors and take pictures with the designed side showing.
